The Field Service Technician Intern will shadow team members to gain hands-on experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:ROLE Assist with service tasks as assigned and as per company policies and procedures Capable of working under direct supervision upon training completion Communicate with customers onsite, giving basic updates on progressSAFETY Operate in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelines Must wear appropriate PPE as per company guidelines and accordance with job duties Report all work related accidents or injuries within 24 hours to the appropriate personnel. ADMINISTRATION Complete accurate and timely administrative tasks and support service report generation per company guidelines Maintain company property (PPE, test equipment, laptop, etc.) per company policiesQUALIFICATIONSExperience Currently enrolled in a related degree program High School or Vocational School Diploma Interpersonal and Administrative Skills Communicate professionally and respectfully in both written and verbal forms Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) WORKING CONDITIONS: Travel to customer sites as required Flexible schedules (weekends and evenings) Valid driver’s license Due to the safety sensitive aspect of the role, candidates are required to successfully pass a drug test prior to employment. In addition, you will also be required to complete and pass a pre-employment background check and a motor vehicle records check. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
