The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
Interpret 3D CAD models, blueprints, and technical data to determine tooling and set-up requirements
Monitor the production schedule and prepare tools, programs, and models for upcoming projects
Use CAM software to create offline programs and set up CNC machining centers with necessary fixtures and tools
Operate and adjust machines, ensuring proper settings for cutting depth, speed, and feed, while maintaining part quality
Inspect parts, change tools, and troubleshoot or adjust machines as needed to ensure precision and conformance to specifications
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
3 or more years of experience or apprenticeship operating CNC machines, manual mills and lathes is required to be considered
Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship program or an A.S. degree in Machining or a closely related field would be a plus
Pay is up to $45/hour
A solid work history
A US citizen or possess a green card
