⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Apprentice QC Worker Bilingual PM Shift 2:30pm – 11pm (richmond / point / annex) Monvera Glass Decor compensation: $19-$21 per hour employment type: experience level: entry level job title: Apprentice QC worker Bilingual Apprentice QC Inspector Monvera Glass Décor (www.monvera.com) is a leading supplier of glass decoration services to the wine and beverage industry. We print labels directly onto glass bottles and we are looking for a QC Apprentice. Prior experience is not necessary as we will provide on the job training. After a period of shadowing and hands-on training you will become part of our QC team. This full-time apprentice position offers a great opportunity to learn new skills with possibilities for future advancement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Approve production samples, machine set-up, in-process production and finished products conform to specifications. Conduct visual, measurement and ink adhesion tests. Return products for re-work if necessary. • Perform and record receiving inspection results when required. • Liaise with the Production Lead on QC requirements for the shift based on the shift production schedule. • Document inspection results by completing the Production and Quality logs. • Monitor and record oven settings and report deviations to the Production Lead. • Communicate across the organization including with the rest of the QC team, Production, Sales & Customer Service. • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; comply with legal regulations. • Maintain and clean the workspace daily. Position Requirements: • Able to pay close attention to detail. • Have a thorough and practical approach. • Excellent concentration skills with the ability to do repetitive work. • Have good communication, literacy and numeracy skills. Ability to communicate clearly both written and orally. • Comfortable with using computer software. • Ability to use graduated rules, calipers and take measurements. • Able to work in a standing position and to lift medium weights. • Able to work overtime when required. • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. Education/Experience Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. • Strong organizational skills. • Experience in MS Office and/or Google sheets. • Bilingual English/Spanish.
