Job Description Working within a high-end, state of the art facility in group/team oriented project layout – utilize various hand, power, and pneumatic tooling to appropriately build/assemble prototype vehicles to design and engineering specifications. Work in teams of 2-3 in bays to appropriately assemble, disassemble, and build prototype vehicles in assembly and fabrication department. Responsibilities Build and assemble automotive vehicles for research and development. Utilize various hand tools to assist in vehicle assembly. Setup, operate, and changeover various robotic welding machines Interpret specs and blueprints relative to parts produced Work in teams to focus on different aspects of the car such as doors, frames, underbody, hoods, welds, engines, etc. Ensure quality and precision in the assembly process. Essential Skills 1+ year experience working on cars, trucks, or SUVs. 1+ year experience doing general assembly work related to building vehicles. 1+ year experience working with hand tools related to automotive vehicles. Experience in automotive mechanics. Experience with transmissions, engines, and electrical systems. Why Work Here?
