The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. This role involves working on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including frame straightening, panel replacement, and dent removal. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment to execute repairs effectively. Conduct welding and soldering tasks as needed to restore vehicle integrity. Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer. Apply automotive paint with precision to achieve a flawless finish. Estimate repair costs accurately and communicate findings to customers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and keeping them informed throughout the repair process. Requirements Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in the automotive industry. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment. Strong skills in welding, soldering, auto painting, and detailing vehicles. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills for effective customer service interactions. Knowledge of auto estimating processes is preferred but not mandatory.
