The Braxton Automotive Apprenticeship is a program of work-based learning designed to develop competence in automotive diagnosis and repair, providing a pathway to Master Technician certification and a successful career at Braxton Automotive.

Responsibilities

Learn from and assist assigned mentor technician to expand vehicle repair knowledge and ability
Deliver customer cars to service stalls as requested by technicians
Perform safety inspections, oil changes, lube work, basic maintenance and minor repairs as directed
Replenish supplies as requested by technicians or supervisor
Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor
Attend training classes and completes online courses
Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
All other duties as assigned

Exemplary oral and written communication skills
Team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic
Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system and service information systems

Qualifications

Valid GA Driver’s License with clean driving history
Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Will be required to obtain Emissions Inspector certification
