Automotive Equipment Repair Specialist Automotive Service and Petroleum Equipment Hager City, WI 54014 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Equipment Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of Automotive shop equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. We service and install most major brands of lifts, tire changers/balancers, air compressors, and lube equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical background and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Perform repairs on various types of machinery, including automotive lifts, compressors, flush machines, ac machines Utilize power tools to complete repairs and modifications as needed. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand equipment specifications and repair requirements. Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and safely. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment functionality. Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and enhance overall service quality. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service history for each piece of equipment. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive shop equipment. Proficiency in using power tools. Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
