If you are already NA-C certified , you’ll skip the Nursing Assistant Certification training and move directly into the behavioral health specialization. This apprenticeship is similar to roles such as: Psychiatric Aide / Psychiatric Nursing Assistant Mental Health Aide / Technician Healthcare Aide Behavioral Health Nurse Aide Apprentices “ earn while they learn ,” gaining full-time employment and on-the-job experience while completing classroom training. Apprentices also earn college credit through our partnership with Clover Park Technical College and complete a one-year post-graduation service commitment . Program Details: 250 hours of classroom and lab sessions 2,000 hours of on-the-job training NA-C exam (if needed) Completion of specialized behavioral health coursework SUMMARY: Support clinical teams with safety, care, and client support tasks in behavioral health environments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide intake support and answer inquiries Supervise clients and facilitate group activities Conduct safety checks and emergency drills Perform CNA-level care tasks (e.g., vitals, hygiene support) Manage EHR documentation and medication logs Assist with recreational programming and transportation Ensure safety and adherence to program guidelines Maintain professional communication and teamwork Application Deadline: May 5, 2025 Apply early to allow time for interviews and placement.
