The responsibilities of the Nursing Student include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. The Nursing Student must exhibit the ability to work with people form diverse socio-economic backgrounds; to organize, set priorities and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Qualifications: Education required: High School diploma/GED. Candidates must be enrolled in a Board approved nursing education program and be selected for the RN apprenticeship program by the college or university. License, certification and/or registration: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
