CNC Machinist Apprentice 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Catoosa, OK 74015 HireCall is recruiting for a CNC Machinist Apprentice to work at one of our Catoosa client companies Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated CNC Machinist Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and eager to learn the trade. The apprentice will assist in operating CNC lathes and mills, supporting production while gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced machinists. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the setup and operation of CNC machines (lathes and mills) Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet specifications Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning Learn and follow safety procedures and company standards Support machinists with tool changes and material handling Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications: Exposure to lathes and mills is preferred (school-based or hands-on experience) Vo-tech or trade school background is a plus, but not required Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand basic machining concepts Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills Willingness to learn and take direction Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods Lift up to 50 pounds Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination Must be able to pass a drug test 2nd chance company (No violent or sexual offenders) If you meet these requirements, please submit your resume to teresa.harmon@hirecall.com or call 918.933.5560 to schedule your interview with Teresa.
