This one-year apprenticeship program at Northwestern Medicine will provide each participant with both experience and training. The program consists of on-the-job training while attending courses to complete your Community Health Worker (CHW) Certificate. We are seeking candidates that have either completed or in process of obtaining a CHW certificate. Responsibilities: Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine. Successfully complete projects and work tasks assigned. Develop a working knowledge of hospital operations to a degree that allows for the successful completion of projects supporting a variety of hospital operations. Develop working relationships with staff and management that allows for successful business interactions across all levels of the organization. Participation in activities designed for the development of apprentices during their assignment at Northwestern Medicine. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED.
