Dog Training Apprentice Full Spectrum Canine Austin, TX 78745 I am looking for someone genuinely interested in the science and art of dog training. I run a board and train business that trains obedience and behavioral cases. I need hands on help managing dogs; similar to “kennel tech” duties: taking them out, feeding them, watching them, cleaning up after them. I also need help with occasional admin work: emailing clients, scheduling lessons, dog updates, etc. And while these things are of critical importance, I am looking for someone who not only wants to work with dogs, but has a genuine desire to learn about the training process. Not only will you have a fair hourly pay, you will be in a perfect position to learn from someone who successfully trains dogs day in and day out. The more skill and knowledge you cultivate and demonstrate, the more work I can give. As such, depending on how things progress, there is potential for the given role to expand both in responsibilities and pay.
