Your Role with the Company
The Entry Level Apprentice Technician is responsible for learning the ins and outs of low voltage systems installation and then applying that knowledge in a real-world environment to assist in the installation of fire alarm, security alarm, voice, data, or audio-visual systems that comprise a building’s commercial-grade low voltage technologies. Entry Level Apprentice Technicians will gain valuable, real-world experience as they assist experienced Technicians in the installation of cabling and hardware in environments such as Multi-Story Office Buildings, College Campuses, Hospitals, Amusement Parks, Manufacturing Facilities, Entertainment Venues, Stadiums, and virtually every non-residential structure known to man. As an apprentice technician, you will learn valuable skills such as how to read blueprints and schematics, how to operate industry-specific test equipment, building codes, industry-specific trade secrets, and much, much more. The more you learn the more you earn!
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Background Profile
You are:
Experienced at working in a construction environment or physically demanding roles.
Mechanically inclined and familiar with basic hand tools.
Motivated to learn a skilled trade and pursue a lucrative career.
Willing to travel daily to, from, and between job sites in Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding areas.
Dependable and on time.
Able to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
Someone who has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Someone who can pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
