The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves performing various tasks related to building and installation, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all projects. The Field Technician will be responsible for executing tasks on-site, utilizing their expertise in carpentry and construction techniques. Responsibilities Accurately measure glass, windows, doors, and shower enclosures for fabrication and installation. Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications. Communicate measurement details effectively with the estimating, fabrication, and installation teams. Identify and resolve potential measurement discrepancies before production. Maintain precise records and documentation of all measurements. Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and customers to ensure accurate job execution. Adhere to all safety standards and company protocols.Construct and build structures according to project specifications. Perform trim carpentry tasks, including the installation of moldings and other decorative elements. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Read blueprints accurately to determine project requirements and specifications. Execute measurement for pre-installation estimation with precision, adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Assist in construction estimating by providing input on material needs and project timelines. Fabricate components as necessary to meet project specifications. Skills Proficient in measurement techniques with hands-on experience in measuring for construction purposes. Strong knowledge of construction practices and installation methods. Experience using power tools and hand tools safely in a construction environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately for effective project execution. Knowledge of drywall installation processes, including taping, mudding, and sanding. Familiarity with fixture installation practices for various types of equipment. Basic understanding of construction estimating principles to assist in project planning. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fabricate solutions as needed.
