Job Summary Under general supervision of a Field Service Technician, the Field Service Apprentice will go out on installs and maintains towers, antenna systems, and related site structures; work irregular hours and travels extensively throughout the coverage area. Performs related duties as assigned. Duties Beginning training while under Trainer supervision: Time Element: 3-5 weeks in training. Completes Deinstall Computer Use Emails/Teams Daily Reports Equipment Request Tools/ Equipment Complete New Hire Training Other duties as assigned After training Under minimum supervision be able to: Time Element: (After 90Day Probation) Successfully completed Complete initial Training Check List Demonstrates “A” Grade installation with diminished support Demonstrated installation within a 2-3-hour timeframe, progressing to quicker completion times. Complete New Hire Safety Training Complete toolbox training of Close out notes on all work orders in a timely manner. Skills No industry experience – 100% green – experience would warrant a higher starting rate Self-motivation and personal skills Capability of lifting 50lbs Willingness to work on-call during specified periods of time (compensated accordingly) Current driver’s license required with acceptable driving record Employment offers will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to successfully pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
