We are searching for qualified individuals to assist in the repair, maintenance, construction, installation and fusion of plastic pipe and reconditioning of gas distribution pipelines in South Bend, IN and its surrounding areas. Main Responsibilities: Aligning and fusing pipe Installing pipe into ditch Tie-in to live natural gas main Testing and tapping of gas services and main Driving equipment to and from jobsite. Maintaining safe work environment for workers and public Cleaning and maintaining equipment Accounting for all tooling before leaving jobsite Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of outdoor work or manual labor experience. Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Valid driver’s license with good driving record. Current DOT Medical Card, or the ability to obtain one upon employment. Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer’s operator qualifications Preferred Qualifications: Qualified plastic pipe fusion experience Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A Connect with us on Social Media!
