We are a growing company that offers services from large, technical tree removals, tree pruning, stump grinding to small ornamental pruning. We operate in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh, predominantly in the Jefferson, Pleasant Hills, Bethel Park and Baldwin areas and as far south as Beallsville. I am currently looking to hire someone to fulfill a lead ground technician position. I am an ISA Certified Arborist and looking to work with others passionate about becoming an arborist or just growing in the field. Responsibilities: ● Plant/Remove/Trim shrubs, trees and flowers ● Clean up and help maintain a safe job site at all times ● Set ropes and tie knots for rigging during tree removals and pruning (we will teach you!) ● Work as part of a team helping others with any and all landscaping/tree service tasks(dragging brush, cutting and carrying logs, chipping brush) ● Be on time and show up everyday ready to work ● Help maintain and care for equipment. We started with little to no hand tools and now have a chipper, dump trailer, mt100, stump grinder and an atv to help us move material. If you show care and professionalism we will teach you how to operate the equipment. Taking care of and maintaining equipment is part of the job. Employees are expected to treat equipment with care. Requirements: Reliable transportation to and from work (you will meet us at the job sites or the designated lot) Able to lift 80lbs Able to work long hours when needed Positive attitude Punctual We are a small company that continues to grow every year. Starting pay ranges from $15-$25/hr. Also, I am open to sending employees that have been with us for a year or longer through training programs at local colleges, or providing you with the necessary study materials and training materials to take your wages, responsibility and value to above $25/hour(this is dependent upon your progression). We are a 8 year old dynamic company looking for our next team members. We are also looking for skilled climbers to sub contract out the climbing of large technical trees or possibly bring on board for part time climbing.
