Position Overview:
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards, providing the customer with a high-quality experience This role requires the ability to perform routine maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, identify maintenance risks, and ensure optimal functioning of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
System Maintenance:

Maintain and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning, ventilation.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, adjusting, and calibrating systems to ensure proper functionality.

Replace or repair defective parts and components in HVAC systems.
Diagnostic and Repair:

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.

Identify potential maintenance risks and provide recommendations for solutions.

Repair or replace defective equipment, components, and wiring as needed.
Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions regarding HVAC system operations and maintenance.

Perform warranty services as required and document all services performed.
Compliance and Safety:

Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Provide detailed reports on the condition of HVAC systems and any repairs or maintenance carried out.

Education and Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in HVAC technology or a related field.

EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
Experience:

Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with an understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components.

Experience with troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems.
