**Responsibilities – Lab Medical Asst II:**
+ Responsible for collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing.
+ Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens, referring specimens to outside laboratories, interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests, performance of phlebotomy procedures.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Credentials:**
+ Essential – Driver’s License
+ Required – 6 months – Phlebotomy
+ Or, 6 months – Laboratory Related
+ Or, 6 months – Related Field
**Education:**
+ Required – High School or Equivalent
+ Or, Bachelors in related field in lieu of experience
