The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lock mechanisms and security systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ properties. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks and security devices. This role requires a keen attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Install, repair, and replace locks on doors, windows, safes, and other security devices. Respond to emergency lockout situations promptly and efficiently. Use hand tools and specialized equipment to perform locksmith tasks. Conduct security assessments for residential and commercial properties. Provide recommendations for improving security measures based on client needs. Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory of materials used. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in locksmith technology. Collaborate with clients to ensure their specific security needs are met. Requirements Proven experience as a Locksmith or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of lock mechanisms, key cutting techniques, and electronic locking systems. Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter for testing electrical components related to locking systems is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients. Valid driver’s license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
