We also serve as a distributor for other AGC Electronics Materials manufactured in Japan and elsewhere. We are headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, USA, and are a division of AGC Flat Glass North America. What We Offer Swing Shift (2:15 – 10:45 PM) $20.63 – $25.27 per hour (+10% shift differential) Full benefits package that includes but is not limited to: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance New employees are eligible for benefits on the 1st of the month following 30 days of hire. About The Role Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 6 months related manufacturing experience Must be able to read blueprints, and have a working knowledge of GD&T Beginner proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and use of web browsers Willing and able to work overtime as necessary Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when on the manufacturing floor Proficiency in English to read, write and comprehend instructions and safety protocols Must be able to work in a variety of positions such as sitting, standing, bending, and moving between workstations for extended periods of time Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments, including but not limited to, calipers, dial indicators, etc. Responsibilities: Setup and operate CNC machines to manufacture Silicon Carbide (SiC) products Cleans and finishes part process in preparation for the next operation Proficiency in basic math to calculate setups while using various units of measurement Performs routine setup of fixtures, tools and machines, according to blueprints and work instructions. Shadow machinists during processing through functional procedures and machining processes such as, milling, turning, shaping, drilling, and surface grinding.
