Responsibilities:
Assist Service Technicians in performing facility preventative maintenance and repairs as directed
Assist in lubricating dampers, motors, and other mechanical equipment
Perform minor carpentry repairs as needed
Check and change equipment belts as directed
Perform minor repairs and/or replacements on drywall, wood, carpet, and other materials located in the facility as directed.
Assist in the submission of work orders for major repairs.
Stage and setup tools and materials
Perform jobsite cleanup.
Requirements:
Mechanically inclined
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Eager to learn preventative maintenance and facility repairs
Understanding of job site safety and guidelines
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
Must be able to position one-self to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics and tunnels.
Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards
Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
Must be able to work in cold/hot environments.
Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to ascend/descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs, and/or operate scissor/boom lifts while working at height.
Work in permit & non-permit required confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
Must be able to respond quickly to auditory alarms, visual signals, or other effective means to communicate hazards
Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
