NEMT Driver MEDICX TRANS LLC Quad Cities, IA Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers and goods safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to handle various driving responsibilities, including commercial driving, delivery, and shuttle services. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles including vans, limousines, and paratransit vehicles to transport passengers or goods. Ensure timely delivery of items to designated locations while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, as well as handling their inquiries professionally. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle by performing regular inspections and necessary maintenance checks. Assist with heavy lifting when required, ensuring safe handling of all items being transported. Keep accurate records of routes taken, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during driving duties. Collaborate with dispatchers to receive instructions on delivery or passenger pick-up schedules. Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; experience as a NEMT driver or in shuttle driving is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers and clients. Experience in limousine or paratransit driving is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for certain deliveries or passenger assistance. Excellent time management skills with a commitment to punctuality and reliability. A clean driving record with no major violations is required; clean background checks and drug test will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
