The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of various plumbing fixtures and systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read and interpret schematics, work with various tools, and ensure compliance with local plumbing codes. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in clinics, hospitals, restauration, residential and commercial properties. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform construction plumbing tasks including pipe fitting, welding, and soldering. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters and HVAC technicians during remodeling projects. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and local building codes. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding plumbing issues. Skills Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints related to plumbing systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues. Experience with construction plumbing techniques including welding and soldering. Familiarity with both power tools and hand tools used in plumbing work. Background in remodeling projects is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently as needed. Previous experience as a maintenance person or carpenter is beneficial but not required.
