Plumbing Technician Rivers Plumbing & Septic Shelbyville, TN Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of plumbing tasks, including installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and be familiar with construction plumbing techniques. Duties: – Inspect and diagnose plumbing issues in residential and commercial properties. – Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems, including unclogging drains and replacing worn-out parts. – Install new plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. – Repair and replace faulty or damaged plumbing components. – Conduct site visits to inspect and identify plumbing issues. – Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the best course of action for plumbing repairs and installations. – Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. – Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently. – Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals as needed. – Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations. – Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients. – Continuously update knowledge of new plumbing technologies and techniques.
