Practice Director RDMG/Cornerstone Pediatrics 97 Cornerstone Drive, Cary, NC 27519 Job Summary: The Practice Director manages and maintains clinic productivity through effective management practices in accordance with the established policies and procedures. The PD is responsible for overseeing the day-to day administrative and operational aspects of the medical practice. The PD will ensure that the practice runs efficiently and effectively and that the patients receive high quality care. The PD interacts regularly with PraxiOP to access support services and bring best practices to the practice. Key Responsibilities: · Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the medical office, ensuring smooth workflows, patient satisfaction, and efficient resource utilization. · Staff Management: Supervise, train, and evaluate office staff including receptionists, medical assistants, billing specialists, and other support personnel. Ensure team productivity and provide ongoing development opportunities. · Financial Management: Oversee all office expenditures and track reimbursements. Participate in monthly financial reviews. Ensure accurate coding and billing practices. · Patient Coordination: Ensure timely and efficient scheduling of appointments, manage patient flow, and address patient concerns or complaints. Ensure a positive experience for all patients. · Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Ensure the practice adheres to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA) and industry best practices. Manage audits and implement policies to maintain compliance. · Technology Management: Oversee the use of practice management software, electronic health records (EHR), and other healthcare technology systems to streamline office operations and improve patient care. · Strategic Planning: Work with healthcare providers and executives to plan for growth, assess performance, implement quality improvement initiatives, and help with business development strategies. Work Environment: The Medical Office Practice Director typically works in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare facility; being present during normal operating hours. This position may require occasional evening or weekend hours depending on office needs.
