Responsibilities- Help with parts organization Deliver parts to technicians when they arrive Help technicians with repairs, when needed. Perform quality control test drives on vehicles Drive vehicle to the local car wash/vacuum/stage vehicle In the office Sweep/Mop Blow off/shake floor mats Wipe down countertops Keep the Coffee bar tidy Empty trash cans Refill soap dispensers Make sure paper towels and toilet paper stocked Clean bathrooms; wipe down toilets; clean mirrors and sink Clean inside and outside of lobby windows In the Shop Empty oil drain buckets Empty trash cans Refill washer fluid and coolant bottles Clean tech bathroom, wipe down walls/sink/toilet Sweep floor Keep shop floors clean using our floor machine Dispose of scrap parts after techs are finished Pick up all used rags and dispose Move discarded tires Assist with keeping shop organized Assist with cleaning shop equipment Wipe down lifts (once a week) Qualifications Some mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive diagnostics and repair (what is a check engine light, why does it come on, etc) Some experience in using hand and power tools for vehicle maintenance (have you changed the oil on your own car?)
