The West Virginia Construction Craft Laborers’ Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee 
TRAINING
Apprentices will be required to attend a total of 400 hours of classroom and hands-on training at the West Virginia Laborers’ Training Center in Mineral Wells (Parkersburg), West Virginia where instruction, meals and lodging will be provided free of charge.  In order to complete the program, apprentices will earn an appropriate wage rate while receiving 4000 hours of on-the-job training on construction projects in their home areas.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years of age. Must possess a high school diploma / GED OR, pass a test administered by the West Virginia Job Service office, a valid driver’s license and must be physically able to perform the work of the trade. A copy of your birth certificate, high school diploma / GED or transcript of grades and a copy of your valid driver’s license will be requested at a later date.
 All applicants selected to participate in the program must pass a drug test
