Become a student stylist (apprentice)
This program is an employer-driven, on-the-job training model that allows you to earn $$$ while you learn how to perform various hair design techniques such as hair cutting, coloring, perming . I will provide you a national Standard instruction (digital platform for hybrid, remote learning available) state curriculum to ensure you meet the minimum standards to test and attain a professional license. Utah requires 1,600 hours of training in the salon for a Hairdesigner license.
Some of the things you will learn-
-Color theory, color weaving, babylights, hand painting, gray hair coverage, bleaching, semi- and demi-permanent coloring, toning and glossing.
-Men’s and women’s cuts, texturizing and layering.
-Through hands-on experience, you will develop skills that college classes and textbooks simply can’t give you, like customer service, home hair care, salon etiquette, the business side of being a hair stylist, and practical/theory side of hair.
Program Cost $15,000.
Includes a full “kit” of basic tools needed to complete the program and your textbook. 1,600 hours can be completed within a year working at least 4 days a week. Some schedule flexibility is available.
$2,000 deposit required at signing of agreement. Remaining Payment ($13,000) options:
-pay in full within 60 days 10% discount

Federal Financial aid is available! You can apply for aid with Workforce Services’ Career and Education Program.
Responsibilities
Daily schedule with instruction will include “assisting” me with clients 3 days a week, shampooing, applying gloss, occasional blow dry, cleaning and organizing. You will observe all aspects of interaction with clientele, salon service, observe other salon professionals, scheduling, marketing for and retaining clients and payment processing. You will study your textbook with some independence in downtime, practice on a mannequin one to two days a week and between clients until you are ready to book clients of your own. All study/work must be observed for proper accreditation.

Qualifications
18 years of age, able to stand several hours a day, able to walk 2-4 miles a day, reliable transportation, access to a laptop, read, write and speak english and able to pay a $2000 deposit.
