Performing electrical and mechanical testing, assembly, programming, design validation and verification of electronic or electro-mechanical products.
Responsibilities
1. Perform testing on electronic assemblies.
2. Work with engineering to understand and apply defined test requirements.
3. Utilize different types of lab equipment and provide maintenance as required.
4. Build test harnesses, loads, and circuit boards to support product verification.
5. Document and maintain records relating to work performed.
6. Inform supervisor of process, test, or design issues.
7. Assemble (mechanical/electrical) fixtures and test setups as required.
8. Communicate in a professional and effective manner.
9. Perform other associated tasks as required.
Skills
1. Effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling correspondence with others
2. Working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, and word documents
3. Ability to read engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams
4. Ability to maintain necessary product records and documentation
5. Ability to assemble and disassemble products
6. Ability to use and maintain lab equipment
7. Ability to perform basic mechanical work
Qualifications
Enrolled in high school with minimum GPA 2.8
Interested in technology, electronics, manufacturing, or engineering
