A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a healthcare professional who provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN).
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature and pulse
- Assisting with mobility and transferring patients from bed to wheelchair or vice versa.
