A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a healthcare professional who provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:
  1. Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
  2. Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature and pulse
  3. Assisting with mobility and transferring patients from bed to wheelchair or vice versa.
