Summary
Access Control Technician Professional Fire & Security, LLC Huntsville, AL 35802 Overview: We are seeking an Access Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design, electrical work, and computer networking. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be utilized to ensure the security and safety of our facilities. Duties: – Install and program access control devices, (Mag locks, contacts, door strikes, etc.) – Troubleshoot and repair access control equipment – Collaborate with team members on system upgrades and enhancements – Provide technical support to end-users on system operation – Document all work performed in accordance with company procedures Requirements: – Knowledge of NEC codes and standards – Mechanical knowledge for system installation and maintenance – Experience as a service technician or in field service roles – Possession of relevant certificates in access control systems – Proficiency in computer networking for system integration – Strong electrical skills to handle wiring and connections – Ability to detect and resolve system issues promptly – Capability to build and configure access control systems efficiently Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Tools provided Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: Huntsville, AL 35802 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Huntsville, AL 35802: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
