Summary
Plumbing Apprentice Easy Electric LLC Columbia, SC 29205 Easy Electrical Solutions, one of the nation’s leaders in residential power generation, is seeking a motivated Plumbing Apprentice to join our team, focusing on assisting with whole-home standby generator installations . This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in plumbing systems related to generator setups. The role involves physical labor, travel across South Carolina, and close collaboration with both plumbing and electrical crews. Key Responsibilities: Assist with generator installations, including digging trenches, moving generators into position, and setting pipes. Connect and secure pipes for generator fuel systems, ensuring proper pressure testing and adherence to safety standards. Learn to determine appropriate pipe sizes and configurations for various equipment, setups, and run lengths. Support the electrical crew on job sites as needed, including assisting with physical tasks. Maintain transparency and understanding of the labor-intensive aspects of the job, such as trenching and digging. Travel throughout South Carolina to project sites, ensuring timely and efficient completion of installations (only daily travel, no or very rare overnight travel). Follow company protocols and adhere to safety guidelines at all times. Qualifications: Prior plumbing or construction experience is highly preferred. Willingness to perform physical labor, including digging and trenching. Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments. Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
