Job Description: Industrial Equipment Operator/Processor1st Shift starting at$19/HRSchedule is 6AM-2:30PM, Monday – FridaySecond shift possiblyavailable, please inquire directlyJob description:Industrial Metalsprocessing facility seeking Equipment Operator / Processor.Thebusiness is a metal recycling facility where scrap metals arebroken down and shredded with industrial machines to client orderspecifications.Individual will be responsible for all aspects ofthe recycling process;Unloading shipments of materials, sorting ofmaterials, quality control of finished product, and safe handlingand transportation of materials. Forklifts, tow motors, backhoes,and other industrial equipment are utilized to load, unload, andtransport materials throughout the facility. Industrial shreddingmachines are utilized, and constant quality checking of finishedgoods is required. Finished goods may need sorted, inventoried,transported, and or held for further processing depending onclient’s request.Responsibilities Include:Prior industrial workexperience and safe practice knowledge is requiredForklift/TowMotor/Backhoe Loader experience preferred, but no requiredSteel-toeor composite safety-toe shoes are requiredAbility to stand forentire shiftAbility to regularly lift and move up to 50poundsQuality control visually inspecting and sorting finishedmaterials as neededCommunication skills are crucial with coworkersand department leadersComfortable with hot/cold environment.
