3 Axis Machine Operator

Description:
Responsible for manufacturing quality parts on 3axis Hass machine, including setups and changing materials and tools as required. Operators must be able to inspect the parts being produced by using inspection tools. 

Responsibilities

Tasks
  • Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipers and portable CMM or FARO.
  • Machine parts to specifications, using Haas machines.
  • Experience with Haas controllers
  • Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations.

Qualifications

Getting Information
  • Review work instructions, standard works and set up sheets to determine operational methods or sequences.
Controlling Machines and Processes
  • Operate cutting equipment.
  • Operate grinding equipment and burr equipment
 
Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
  • Exchange information with colleagues clearly both written and verbal in a constructive manner
Handling and Moving Objects
  • Assemble electromechanical or hydraulic systems.
  • Assemble machine tools, parts, or fixtures.
  • Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair.
  • Install mechanical components in production equipment.
  • Mount attachments or tools onto production equipment.
  • Move product using pallet jack or fork lift to designated area
Inspecting Equipment
  • Check for safety hazards per 6S checklist
  • Verify calibration and offset alignment of production equipment
  • Verify certification of inspection equipment

Eligibility to Work Requirements

Schedule:
  • Multiple shifts available
  • 1st: Mon-Thu 6am-4:30pm
  • 2nd Mon-Thu 4:15pm-2:45am
  • 3rd: Fri-Sun 4am-4:30pm
