Job Description: The Heavy Duty Technician is responsible for ensuring ourHydrovac fleet is in safe working condition by diagnosing,repairing, and maintaining our line of trucks.The salary for thisposition will be commensurate with education or work experience.What You’ll Be Doing Inspects heavy equipment and performs quality repairs andpreventative maintenance services of assigned branch or branches’Hydrovac fleet. Performs scheduled maintenance, such as cleaning andlubricating parts and perform other routine maintenance work. Diagnoses and identifies malfunctions, using computerized toolsand equipment . Tests equipment that has been repaired and makesadjustments. What You’ll Need for Success Licensed Heavy Duty Technician or equivalent; 310T LicenseMinimum 3 years’ experience with heavy equipment (Hydrovac orVacuum Truck experience preferred). Must be able to operate a motor vehicle, G licenserequired Ability to interpret work orders and technical manuals on paperand PC based formats. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to mentor an apprentice.
