Apprentice Funeral Director MAX A. SASS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1515 West Oklahoma Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53215 Looking for a professional individual to assist licensed funeral directors in all aspects of funeral service including on-call schedule. We require a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license and a WI Apprentice license. Required to carefully follow instructions and be detail oriented. Assist licensed funeral directors in the following areas while learning on the job: Help in arranging funerals with families. Assist in funeral visitations and services/funeral set-up and breaking down. Preparing the deceased for public visitations, cremation and transportation. Learn embalming and restorative art. On call 5pm to 8am with an associate; every other night and then every other weekend. After business hours removal bonus and monthly phone reimbursement. Will work with school schedule.
