We sell new and refurbished commercial and residential beverage systems 2. We sell numerous types of beverage equipment replacement parts 3. We perform on-site service and repair to local soda fountain equipment owners (convenience stores, restaurants, businesses, private homes, etc.) Candidate Requirements No beverage experience required, we will train you We are seeking employees who are motivated to learn and master the skills required to work in the dynamic beverage industry Job tasks will fluctuate between shop-based equipment refurbishment work and local travel for service work We desire employees who are looking for a stable long-term career This is a “hands-on” job that requires an individual with good mechanical aptitude This position requires “attention to detail” and an appreciation for quality work Occasional lifting items greater than 50 pounds is required Hours of Operation Sales office is open Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm Production & service operated Monday through Friday o Flex hours available o Monday-Thursday schedule available o No weekend or night work Job Duties: Remanufactured and Refurbished systems: Cleaning and sanitizing of used equipment Testing and disassembling of soda fountain equipment to determine a refurbishment plan Removing, replacing, or repairing of equipment components Complete reassembly and functional testing of equipment Packing and/or palletizing system for shipping New Soda System: Identifying and preparing appropriate equipment to complete a system order Modify and customize new equipment as needed Assemble system sub-components based upon system type Packing and/or palletizing system for shipping Beverage Equipment Repair (non-scheduled service): Travel to customer location (generally under two hours of travel) Company service vans provided for service jobs Test and troubleshoot equipment functionality Determine the cause of equipment failure Repair or replace equipment as needed Confirm proper equipment operation Commonly performed by one certified technician Beverage Equipment Installation/Removal (scheduled service): Travel to customer location (generally under two hours of travel) Remove equipment due to various reasons (company is closing, company is remodeling, company is relocating, company is upgrading equipment, etc) Install or reinstall equipment due to various reasons (new construction, new owner, remodel, equipment upgrade, etc) Perform post-installation system testing and start up Commonly performed by teams of 2 to 4 technicians Tools and Training Most tasks will be performed with simple hand tools (screw drivers, pliers, cutters, pinchers, etc.) Electrical tools will only involve hand-held drills, grinders, and various types of saws Training is in-house and on-the-job training Some video based training modules Basic employee tool kit will be provided Vehicles Driving of company service vans (employees in good standing and with a current unrestricted license) Driving of forklifts (trained and certified operators) not required for all employees Compensation We strive to compensate our employees with a comparable and competitive hourly rate Starting pay will depend on the candidates work experience and demonstrated skills Annual raises are typical, in addition to performance raises for employees who excel in training, job knowledge, and job performance Additional compensation is available to candidates with refrigeration experience Employees with mastery of the requisite skills and desirous of responsibility will have opportunities to advance to lead and/or supervisory positions Paid sick time, holidays, and vacation time is accrued based on employee tenure
