⚐ ⚑ ⚑ New Queer Positive Theater Company Seeking Actors and Collaborators (Akron/Cleveland) compensation: Potential pay if we decide to take the show to theater Benjamin Boso here @benjaminboso and I am a formally trained Actor in the Meisner Technique in San Francisco under Sanford Meisner’s direct apprentice entrusted to pass on his technique. I am returning to the area after a long time in CA and I would like to put together a community of queer actors and collaborators who are interested in putting on edgy and provocative theater (not musicals) in the Akron/Cleveland area. We would be a traveling theater company, renting locations to work. The project I am currently working on is a theatrical production of COCK by Mike Bartlett within the Akron/Cleveland area. And I am also seeking 3 actors to play opposite me in the production. This production would be set in london and a European accent would be preferred but not required. My hope would be to host a mixer, I can provide the location, and we can discuss the direction I see for this production and see if there are interested and available actors who are wanting to take on this project with me or perhaps other projects they have in the works but are looking for a few missing pieces. In regards to COCK I will be playing John but I am looking to cast 3 other members Male- 30-45 Female- 25-40 Male – 40-65 All profits and proceeds for the Cock production will be split evenly among it’s crew, timeline of the production would require about a month or two of commitment in practicing, getting off book, and then once the production was ready we would start the process of booking venues for the show.
