Works in tandem with a quality inspector/attendant to produce high quality product in a safe, consistent and timely manner.Schedule: M-F 6:30am-3:00pmResponsibilities:Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and adjusts and repairs as appropriateMaintains equipment by cleaning, oiling, and greasingAssists Quality Inspectors in daily assignments and activities and provides coverage as neededReads and interprets leadwire specifications and identifies defects utilizing:-SPC system w/ Quadra-Check-Micrometers-Vernier CalipersTests product to monitor qualityChanges wire and processes inventory adjustments and raw material defectsHandles hazardous chemicalsProvides coverage on shifts other than those assigned, as business dictates.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Must be a Apprentice Mechanic or equivalent: having completed the MechanicCompetency Training Schedule.Must pass a post-offer physical examination.Must achieve a Satisfactory score on Mechanical Aptitude Test, if applicableAbility to work with small parts efficiently and effectively: good hand-eye coordination, good manual dexterityAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift 50 pounds safelyCapable of bending repeatedly to work on machineryGood vision—with or without correction.Must wear protective eyewear and hearing protectionJoin our dedicated team where your skills will make a significant impact on our operations!@WORK IS AN EOE!
