There is plenty of growth in store for the right person in this role. Job description This position will be based out of our shop and showroom in The Woodlands, and will serve our clients in the entire Houston Metro area. Much of your work will be in the shop taking shipments, breaking down and organizing material for jobs, tracking inventory, and more. You will also be hands-on with the Installers on job sites, assisting in unloading and setting up materials to begin work, ensuring all proper materials (drawers, knobs, nails, screws, etc.) are loaded before heading out to the job sites. Job site safety rules must be strictly observed, and installations performed according to plans provided. The expectation is that you will want to grow in your knowledge of the Classy Closets product, operations, and especially in your installation skills, with the aim of becoming a lead installer over time. Required Skills/ Experience: Prefer a minimum (1) years carpentry installation experience (i.e. wall panels, countertops, cabinets). Ability to carry and move various types of materials, including large boards and cabinet materials up to 60 pounds each. Driver’s License. Adept at working in teams or individually. Knowledge of tape measure required. Familiarity and expertise with various hand tools (power and manual) a plus. Forklift experience a big plus. Willing to train the right candidates without experience. Schedule: Monday- Friday starting at 7am End of the day will vary according to projects and client requirements, but generally targeting a total of 40 hours per standard work week.
