The Facility Technician performs a variety of routine and skilled tasks involving general maintenance of CODE’s facilities, equipment, and grounds. Wide range of facilities services tasks including/ but not limited to non-technical maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning facilities and equipment, at a level not requiring formal licensure. May be required to perform tasks of other unlicensed trades, such as a light equipment operator, carpenter, painter, and/or locksmith. Makes routine plumbing repairs, replaces lighting, and makes electrical related repairs. Performs preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Works independently on routine recurring assignments or assists another worker in performing more complex tasks. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with fellow employees. Learns and performs assigned tasks quickly and correctly through on-the-job training and learns safety regulations and practices safety precautions. Reads and interprets blueprints, machine manuals, and schematic drawings to assist in making plumbing and electrical repairs. Comprehends written materials.? Uses Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety procedures, and appropriate equipment in completing assignments. Performs other duties as assigned Crescent City Therapeutics LLC High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 1 years’ experience with mechanical responsibilities Post-secondary trade or vocational school preferred; equivalent experience considered in lieu of formal education preferred Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
