Reports to : Plumbing Team Lead Summary : The Plumbing Apprentice position involves assisting licensed plumbers in inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing plumbing systems. This role provides opportunities to learn and develop technical skills while helping customers enhance their plumbing systems. Essential Duties : Assist in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing or replacing plumbing systems under the supervision of a licensed plumber. Learn to educate and assist customers in choosing products, repairs, and services to enhance their plumbing systems. Attend and actively participate in all required meetings and training for skill development. Follow company scripting to ensure consistent customer experience. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications : Certifications/Licenses : Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to work toward obtaining an Oklahoma Apprentice License. Education/Experience : High school diploma or equivalent. Some experience in plumbing or related fields is preferred but not required. Language Skills : Able to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Able to speak English clearly and professionally. Able to communicate effectively in group settings. Mathematical Skills : Able to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Able to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Reasoning Ability : Able to apply common sense understanding to resolve customer issues. Able to address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills : Basic typing proficiency required. Familiarity with internet navigation, data entry software, spreadsheets, and word processing. Physical Demands :The physical demands outlined below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role: Must be able to sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, hear, talk, type, and write. You must be able to lift and maneuver up to 75 pounds. You must be capable of working outdoors and in extreme weather conditions (wet, below-freezing temperatures, or above 100°). Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding. Must refrain from smoking while on a customer’s property.
