Job Summary: The MVP Tech III is a pivotal role within our team, responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security systems across various categories, including Access Control, Video Surveillance, Burg Systems, Data/IT and Service Calls. This individual will be proficient in multiple aspects of security system installation, as well as provide supervision and mentorship to the MVP Apprentice(s). The MVP Tech III will also contribute to the development of the MVP Apprentice I & II roles and work closely with the MVP Project Manager. Key Responsibilities: · Able to Lead a project independently from start to finish. (Small to Large Projects) · Able to hold MVP Technician(s) and Apprentice(s) accountable to assigned tasks including job quality and overall performance. · Proficient in use of a Laptop & MS Office Software · Able to provide Project Manager/Engineering with Red-Lines of Project · The development of all MVP Tech I, II and Apprentices. Installation & Troubleshooting: o Install door locks and security systems, ensuring functionality and proper integration. Installation & Troubleshoot systems in the following categories: o Access Control o Surveillance Systems (Video) o Data/IT o Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with Burg Systems. Conduit Installation: o Assist in conduit installation, including bending conduit and performing all associated tasks. Technical Proficiency: o Configure basic network settings such as IP Settings. o Install and maintain access control panels and devices. o Install and configure IP Cameras. Leadership & Supervision: o Support and assist the MVP Project Managers on various project tasks. o Develop, supervise, and mentor MVP Apprentices in their role and ensure they are progressing through the MVP Apprentice I & II training. o Write and submit daily reports to the Project Manager regarding project status and progress. Collaboration & Reporting: o Excellent communication and writing skills. o Communicate/Document project status and needs o Collaborate with team members and provide insight into project development and best practices. o Responsible for developing and maintaining strong communication channels with the Project Manager and other team members. Work Style: o Ability to work independently with moderate supervision. o Strong communication skills and ability to report to Project Managers and team members efficiently. Additional Skills: o Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. o A proactive attitude with a focus on project execution and quality work.
