Tree Climber/Groundsman North Texas Tree Experts Sherman, TX 75092 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Tree Climber to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscaping, with experience in tree trimming and maintenance. As a Tree Climber, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and aesthetics of trees while adhering to safety protocols. Your expertise in using various climbing techniques and equipment will be essential in performing your duties effectively. If you have no experience no worries, we have on the job training and are here to train anyone with no experience that is willing to put forth through effort. Duties Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain tree health and appearance. Operate bucket trucks safely for high-access work on trees. Utilize rigging techniques to lower branches safely and efficiently. Conduct thorough inspections of trees to identify any potential issues or hazards. Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Maintain equipment and tools used in tree care operations. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of services provided. Experience Proven experience in tree trimming, landscape maintenance, or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with bucket operation and rigging techniques is highly desirable. Knowledge of tree care practices, including growth patterns and health assessment. Experience with GIS technology for mapping and managing tree inventory is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while adhering to safety standards.
